Music Video Finale

The finale project is over!!!!! Our project was a music video.... I know right, it's amazing to do this kind of project, and I just LOVE songs and music. Well... I kind of ran into trouble with my other team ( Hailee and Tierra, song:work from home ), cause of an arrangement we made that didn't quite work out. So I'm with a new team, and since I'm with a new team I had to delete all of the work I did in this post and make new paragraphs. That was such a weird day... It's fine though, now to talk about the project. For the plan, the new team I have is doing the song Thriller by Michael Jackson.

The story is manly about a girl who is out in the forest. When it was getting close to midnight zombies started to come out of no where. Yes, that is almost like the same thing as the real music video, but there is bits of it that are unique. So anyway later on they are changing the main character ( Kaile ) into a zombie, so then when she turns into a zombie, she starts to dance and other stuff and then it ends. It's pretty good when you think of the lyrics, cause when the lyrics say something she is actually doing it. Like when it says you try to scream, but terror takes the sound before you make it, she's trying to scream and then a hand comes up and stops here from screaming.

My favorite fast-edit montage sequence was probably the part where it shows Alexis’s eye staring at the camera the it changes to Katie then to Alexis again. I like it because it has a good shot type and it's very..... eye catching. It's later in the video so keep watching if you want to see it because in my opinion it's really funny. Yet the sad thing about it is that it's very fast. like it shows it but only for about 5 seconds. That scene is in the forest and in a area that is open. It is for the part in the song that sings: you start to freexe as horror looks you right between the eyes.... your paralyzed.

Animated Life Lessons

My class is now doing an animation. My team chose to do a animation about someone who is trying something different and new, but is going through a hard time.The main character is Josiah who is a shy person who doesn't try new things a lot. His friend Christina ( me ) is a supportive friend who wanted him to play soccer with her and is great at being positive. Then his couch Julie is a inspiring coach that wants to help Josiah be the best soccer player he can. in the begging of this animation we show how Josiah doesn't like new thing that much by showing him stuttering and trying to getting him self out of the conversation of him going to soccer.

     I think that our ( my team ) animation project has some messages or life lessons that can relate to people all over the place. In my opinion the message to people is to never give up and to try new things whenever you can. I'm not sure if we have any humor in my teams animation project. I do know that this animation will be good and that we can make this a good animation. Another message that we may put out there from our project should help other people going through a hard time, or to be a friend to people who might not believe  in themselves.
     
    

Character Develoment

Hello!!!!! it's me again. So are teacher in GT told us to write about what kind of person we are. I didn't want to say what I think of myself because people might disagree. So I made a list of my characteristics and then asked people what they think my characteristics were. What I got from many people that matched some words on my list were funny, annoying ( no one said that, I picked it ), and daredevil. An imperfection about me is that when I have a book I read almost ALL day and night, that is an imperfection for me cause it's hard to get up early in the morning.

So for GT we are also creating gifs. For this gif we are going to explain our characteristics. I plan to exaggerate some traits about myself in my animation. The trait I want to exaggerate the most is my courage. Like maybe I could say " I'm so courages that I would jump in a fire if someone was in there and I would save them" or somethng.

Hello... it's me, and I am back!!! In this post i'm talking about my film we are doing for the movie film festival. In THIS paragraph I will be explaining how my keywords in my film will connect to my audience. My keywords are words that make my film what is is... like funny is one of the keywords we used because we are making a sitcom or comedy. Now for the big question, How do your keywords connect with your audience? Well I think that my keywords will give my audience a perspective of the sitcom and what it is going to be like.

In my film our message wasn't clear. We were manly trying to make a funny film. However I thought the message was a learning experience where you can say anything is possible. Although that's what I though might not be the exact message. For other people it could be if you work hard you can accomplish something or try to focus on working instead of talking or something....

Well I think that my was the best non-complaining team on the earth. I'm just kidding I think hardly any team can Not have at least one argument. We had more than one... mostly because we had arguments on what to do. We had a hard time getting our filming done we struggled because people in the library got in the way of our film. we can't have a persons full body in the film. Luckily we planned ahead for Tuesday because usually on Tuesday there aren't that many people in the library. So later on people got scares and we could film inside.

Tiny Spherical Worlds

 Hello guys!!!!! In this post I'll be talking about composite images. In my GT class we are making polar and spherical panos. If your doing doing this you have to take at least 10 composite pictures. let's think this in't one pick enough?!? Well if you have one picture you will have to get the whole place which wouldn't look so good...

Do you know what a Polar or spherical panos is? Well..... a polar panos is multiple pictures taken of a landscape manipulated to look like a planet like image. A spherical panorama is multiple pictures taken to make a content that forms a surface or inside like world. So you know what they are now, but what makes them different? Well a polar panos is like you looking from outer space to see a planet. A spherical pano is like you looking through a globe and seeing a world surrounding you.



Now I'm trying to make my worlds convincing, but how!!! When you are done doing all those steps like: image, image rotation, rotate bleh bleh bleh bleh you will see a line in the middle of your world and making it non realistic. To make it look REAL you should blend the sky colors together until it looks well... like a sky. Then you blend the land together and make it look like a normal land. if it looks weird and the sky does not look good, maybe rotate it to the side so the focus isn't on the blended sky and land

Hockney Style joiners

Sup everyone!!! I will be talking about David Hockney's photomontages and my photomontages.
( photomontages are multiple pictures taken of a subject and put together ). This style of photography was made by David Hockney. My photomontages are small compared to some of David Hockney's photomontages, it probably took a lot of work cause he didn't have the technology we have today. So my photomontages were created with upgraded technology. For those reasons I put in my other sentences our ( David Hockney and my self ) photomontages are different in some ways.

I think that photos can definitely show positive and some negative messages or feelings. Like if some took a picture of the worlds pollution and where all the garbage is stored that can make me feel ashamed of the trash we make. We can also send a positive message, like a photo of a cute newborn baby can show love.

My photo repersents something important in my life. I picked a computer because without computers I would not be able to make games or write in this blog. the computer also represents technology in my eyes, and many people depend on technology in their lifes

2016 Aspirations

Hey, I'm back we all know that 2016 is a new year so... it's time for new GOALS! I myself have to set goals and I'm gonna share 5 with you guys. My first goal is to get really good grades because I guess I get good grades but I don't get straight A's. Secondly I want to be better at being a steersman in a canoe club I paddle in. The third thing I just though up is to be a nicer person to people and not be a negative person. I would also love to get good news all throughout the year for example I would like to get a letter saying I got into Kamehameha because that would get great news or maybe a letter from my dad on Oahu   (he doesn't have a phone). Last but not least I hope that me and my mom can spend more time together than usually do.

The most important goal for me is the letter from Kamehameha saying I got in. I want to go to Kamehameha because I want to achieve things in life and I think that going to this school will help that dream. I also think that going to Kamehameha will give me a new start in life. This may be my most important goal but it does not mean it's my favorite. My favorite goal is trying to spend more time with my mom.

The steps I will take to accomplish that goal is to first study more!!! Second is to do all of my homework for EVERY class ( which is like 6 classes!!! ). Third is for me to be the very best. Next is for me to listen more in class. LastlyI want to get 100% on all of my tests. 

Scratch Game Design

I'm back, in this post I will be telling you about the first game I created. When
I was creating my game I thought about common sense in choosing my sprites
( characters in a game ) and the backdrops. I also got my friends and family to
try my game out and suggest things to make it better.  After that they would say
what I might need to fix.

My first game I created was a chase game. My chase game was easy for me
to make. The second game I made was a Platformer game. This game I had
trouble with. There are many things different about these two games. One
 thing different about the two games are that one game needs gravity. Another
is that they are two different games as you can see already

         

In this paragraph I will be talking about my best code and hardest bug fixes
 . I think my best code from these three games are the codes you need for
walking or moving.

Invention Commercial

Hi people, I will be talking about my teams main goals for our project ( we had to film a commercial for our invention). My teams Invention was called Forget Me Not. This paragraph is about our best "team moment". I think our best team moment was when we were filming because we were all included in this commercial. We had so much fun with the filming because when we made a mistake sometimes we thought it was funny.

During our editing we all helped out. Some times we were arguing about it. Tierra moved the scripts around and made it so it looked good.Hailee talked about the plan and where to
organize it. Then I did the some of the  transitions.

Composition Scavenger Hunt

   Hi people, I am going to talk about composition techniques. I think the most important composition technique ( a way of taking pictures ) is flat angle because flat  angle is pictures that are  shot from a distance directly in front of the subject. Usually they have a solid background or wall. I think this compistion technique is the most important because I see it shots alot. Also because

I think that the most difficult composition techniques is leading lines. Some people make mistakes when it comes to leading lines. The mistakes they make is they just go to lines and take the shot but that is not exactly the wa to do it, you have to see were the lines lead your eyes to then put your subject were the line lead to.

My teammates are very helpful. Hailee was the 
person that edited the video and typed anything
hat needed typing. Tiara was the person who helped
thinking about the subjects we should take a picture 
of for our composition.

Cracking the Code

Today I will be talking about coding ( the ability to make,create or program a app that could help every day needs). I think everybody should have the ability to learn how to code They should learn because they could design a program that could help daily problems. Another reason could be that if people knew how to code people would earn more money by just making a simple program that would solve simple daily problems. Some people think only a little amount of people should learn. So only certain people can have those "special abilities". Well I don't want that to happen so please try your best if you want learn how to code

The first experience I had with programing was a lesson we had about coding. I enjoyed the experience of coding, it gave me an idea of what I would like to do in my future. In experience I will tell you programing is very hard you should get use to coding and other things that have to do with coding. I also had a chance to make a game inside a game, when I made the game I was very proud of my self. So I think other people should have the same experience.

If I could design a game program or app I would be trying to make one every day, and I would think of a way to upgrade my ideas everyday.I also had a chance to make a game

My Humorous Monologue

     Hi like you should know by now my class had a class project to create a humorous video,

I have learned mostly about responsibility to sign out a camera do your b-roll by a deadline then returning the camera by the next day and some other responsibilities we had as a class. I have also learned about B-roll (extra footage). Doing a video is hard work with clips because there are so many it's hard to manage, luckily our teacher has taught us to be organized. By being organized you are moving clips to profiles or maybe pictures ect....! I have one last thing to share about what I have learned in this experience it is mistakes if you make mistakes it might be hard to learn because we usually learn from our mistakes I made many mistakes and hope to not make the same mistakes again.

       Padding is a part in a video or scenes that they take out because it takes up to much time in your video. Padding is crucial because if you take up to much time in your video then well it's to long,to escape from your video being to long you take it out. In movies it's usually called deleted scenes.
Another way to describe padding is that it is an part of a scene you really don't need in your movie or video. You may also think why padding might be important it's important because it makes a movie longer when you need it to be long or a certain time length.

   I think I could improve my project by shooting better clips for B-roll. I think my joke was funny but
when i put my video or monolouge in it's not that funny. I think i did a great job in shooting B-roll and i did'nt have dark spots the main problem was maybe the volume, it was soft at first then LOUD.
For my project i got a three totally wrong i thought i was getting a two. I think i was graded a three because i had over thirty seconds of B-roll which was required. I also think i should have gotten a two but i'm glad for my good grade.

Comedy Writing

It is important because without humor how would you make people laugh. It's comedy writing without a humor you can't call yourself a comedian if you can't make some one laugh. It also describes the person or character's personality in there self.


Five tips for writing a humorous narrative is, one you should maybe add some sarcastic or attitude in your narrative comedy story, for my second tip you should maybe put some personal traits from you and put it in the character or maybe make the character just exactly like you. My next tip may be to
test a joke on at least five people to check that it is funny and makes sense. Fourthly you should
try to describe the scene and let the person get a visual of what your talking about. The last thing I'm going to tell you is to make sense if you don't make sense.



My comedic monologue is funny to me and other people because, you first understand my joke. Secondly I think it's funny cause I rephrase two things or two questions then at the end it comes to a different question and different answer.

Motivational Poster

The requirements you need for your Motivational Poster is that you need four pages with three symbolic pictures and a portrait of yourself. You will also need two text layers one of your manifesto and one of your personal quotes. The design requirements and all text should be kerned to fit the entire page with no blank spaces. You will also need triadic color scheme and you have to know about blending options witch follows with adjustment layers for images witch is or has color balance, curves, levels or exposures.



First, I had to kern my manifesto and personal quotes then put them together on one layer and start to kern them so there is no spaces in between or holes to fill. Before that I had to write my manifesto and personal quotes on by Google doc on my Google drive because photo shop does not have spelling corrections. After you are done with kerning you start triadic color scheme and find a color then you go to layers color options color balance and pick another color. Finally, you can work on saving it by doing command shift save if you don't have command then you use control instead.



In conclusion my hardest task in this project was kerning to make no holes or blank spaces in my quotes/manifesto I think I could improve in this project in my personal opinion is if I had a lot more computer skills to understand how photo shop worked.

Personal Manifesto
