Scratch Game Design

I'm back, in this post I will be telling you about the first game I created. When
I was creating my game I thought about common sense in choosing my sprites
( characters in a game ) and the backdrops. I also got my friends and family to
try my game out and suggest things to make it better.  After that they would say
what I might need to fix.

My first game I created was a chase game. My chase game was easy for me
to make. The second game I made was a Platformer game. This game I had
trouble with. There are many things different about these two games. One
thing different about the two games are that one game needs gravity. Another
is that they are two different games as you can see already

In this paragraph I will be talking about my best code and hardest bug fixes
. I think my best code from these three games are the codes you need for
walking or moving.

  1. I loved the idea of the sprites, like when you touch the butterfly you gain points, and if you touch the dog you lose points. But, I am not sure how you win the game because every time I restart the game, the score doesn't change back to zero. Try, when the flag is pressed change score to zero. I like how there are three sprites and not only two.

  2. Hey great job love how theirs more than 2 spites It makes your game more challenging to win.
But because in order to gain point you have to touch the butterfly but you cant do that with the dog in the way.
I also really like the idea of the game great idea.

  3. I love how you used 3 sprites.
However, The dog and moth are coded so that if you touch the moth, the dog will come and make sure that you score NO points.
Overall, Your game was smooth and I like it.

  4. I love how your characters move so smoothly
I agree with Meah though about the score does not change back to zero. Try using when flag clicked change score to zero.
I love how you made you game challenging so that its fun to play.

  7. Loved your horse sprite as I have a horse in real life. However I couldn't get to the win and it was like a tar pit I couldn't get out of. But I love your game overall if not for those reasons.

  9. Love your don't touch touch the lava but my horse is being pulled by an invisable force and I can't reach the block! Try make your gravity a little less. You have a nice platform overall good job!
